Afronest Safari Ltd, a subsidiary of Afronest Investments Ltd, is a Ugandan-based tour operator with both Dutch and Ugandan management. Established in 2017 by co-founders Rob Tieman and Joshua Onyait, the company is headquartered in Akright City, conveniently located between Kampala and Entebbe. Rob, who has been visiting Uganda since 2008, was captivated by the country’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Recognizing that Uganda remains relatively unknown in the Netherlands, Rob sought to bridge this gap by creating travel experiences that introduce Dutch travelers to Uganda’s hidden treasures.

Afronest Safari specializes in organizing bespoke tours across Uganda, with additional tour packages available upon request for neighboring countries including Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania. These tailored safari experiences are delivered in partnership with Karamoja Wilderness Expeditions, ensuring an authentic and immersive exploration of East Africa’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.
